Claudio writes: other ringing stations are active along adriatic west coast in these days.
One of this, at the Sentina river (south part of our region - see the attached map), has caught two A. melanopogon three days ago. One of the birds has a Croatian ring. I'm trying to know the ring number and I hope to inform you soon about it.
The overall situations regarding melanopogon captures tells us of a very scarce migration flow anyway except for some coastline stations 150 km. north from Jesi. At Bentivoglio station, near Bologna, only three or four melanopogon captures till now.
At the moment we have about 15 melopogon captures in Jesi station, with only one Hungarian recoverie.

News from Italy by Claudio!
M. warblers arrived, 1 week later than we expect. We caught up seven of them tomorrow, with two recoveries of birds originally ringed by me two years ago, and the 2nd Hungarian recoverie, ring number A498991.  At the roost also a recoverie of A. spinoletta, ringed by me last year. A recoverie of A. atthis also.
Some news from other Adriatic sites: At Ortazzo (Bevano river delta - 150 km. north of Jesi) this morning one recoverie
of M. warbler with German ring.
